This was a great ride. I’m not an experienced rider but I enjoy a good trail ride. The entire staff was good. All of the horses were in good shape. My horse, Hank, was perfect! The 2 1/2 hour ride took us beside a babbling brook and to the base of a waterfall where we dismounted and took an easy hike up to see it.
Excellent horse riding experience for novice and experienced riders. We took the one hour tour with 3 kids 6 and under who had never ridden before. The horses were very gentle and knowledgeable of the area. Excellent tour guide and absolutely stunning scenery.

His distinctive white ‘A’ marking on his rear and friendly nature make him easy to pick out. As the most sociable horse in the stable, Apache forms numerous friendships in the herd and enchants every visitor.

He is a confident trail horse and has experience guiding guests through the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. He is a Quarter Horse and has a very smooth gait.
